If you are looking for something to do with your old children’s books, the Australian Literacy & Numeracy Foundation will happily use them to stock libraries in disadvantaged communities. Until the end of March you can simply drop them in at your local Officeworks.

Vetti pointed me in the direction of these cute vases made from old books by Laura Cahill. In case you are wondering, the books are cut to shape on a bandsaw then wrapped around a test tube.
