Borders Australia to start selling ebooks and readers.

Blair Speedy at the Australian reports that Redgroup Retail, which owns both Borders and Angus & Robertson, will roll out the Kobo platform, developed by Canadian book chain Indigo, within the next month or so. If you are looking for something to do with your old children’s books, the Australian Literacy & Numeracy Foundation will happily use them to stock libraries in disadvantaged communities. Until the end of March you can simply drop them in at your local Officeworks.
